Draft for owner and legal review
Privacy Policy
What information this website uses, how cookie choices work, and how to reach us with a privacy question.
1. What this policy covers
This draft explains how Reveal Web Services may handle personal information when you visit this website or contact us. It does not cover websites we build for clients, their customers, or third-party services that have their own privacy policies.
2. Information you share with us
When you email, call, or use an enabled chat service, you may share your name, contact information, business details, and the contents of your message. We use that information to understand your request and communicate with you.
The contact and Free Snapshot Report forms use our hosted form service to validate and process submissions. Submitted contact and business details may create or update CRM records and create an inbox conversation so our team can respond. Snapshot submissions request a report from our team; submitting the form does not by itself generate or email a report automatically. The form service and any enabled spam protection may receive technical information when the form loads or is submitted.
3. Technical information and external resources
Website hosting and service providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, and access times when they deliver the site.
This site loads fonts and images from external providers. Those requests may share technical information with the provider even when widgets are disabled. Cookie choices control AI chat, customer reviews, and Google Analytics. AI chat loads with Necessary cookies or Accept cookies, but not with Reject cookies. Reviews and analytics load only after optional-cookie acceptance. Cookie choices do not control every network request made by the site.
4. Cookies and your choices
We use a first-party cookie to remember your cookie choice for six months. Choose Reject cookies to keep AI chat, customer reviews, and Google Analytics off, Necessary cookies to enable AI chat only, or Accept cookies to enable all three. Manage cookie preferences lets you adjust these services using the same combinations. You can reopen the panel using Cookie settings in the footer and save a different choice at any time. Applying a choice refreshes the page. Storage that remembers your cookie choice and accessibility preferences remains available even with Reject cookies.
We include AI chat in the Necessary cookies choice, but it does not load before you choose or after you choose Reject cookies. The chat provider may receive technical information and use cookies or similar storage; if you use chat, it also processes the information you share. Customer reviews and Google Analytics load only with Accept cookies. Choosing Necessary cookies prevents future reviews and analytics loading; choosing Reject cookies prevents future loading of all three services. Changing your choice does not necessarily delete information or storage already held by a provider.
Google Analytics 4 helps us understand which pages visitors use and how they move around the site. When enabled, Google may process cookie identifiers, page visits, referral sources, browser and device information, and approximate location. Our page-visit tracking excludes URL query strings and fragments and does not send contact-form answers or chat messages. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in this site configuration. Google has its own privacy practices at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google Analytics is not loaded before consent or with Reject cookies or Necessary cookies.
When a new optional service is added, we ask visitors with an older optional-cookie choice to confirm again before enabling it.
Owner and legal review needed: confirm that the chat provider's actual cookies, storage, tracking, and data uses qualify as necessary under applicable law. This classification is a site configuration, not a verified legal determination.
If you use the accessibility controls, your reading preferences are saved locally in your browser when storage is available. They are not sent to Reveal by those controls. You can restore the default preferences using Reset controls.
You can also manage cookies and website storage through your browser. Blocking storage may stop the site from remembering your choices.
5. How information may be used and shared
Information you provide may be used to answer questions, prepare proposals, provide requested services, maintain the website, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. This draft does not create consent for unrelated marketing messages.
Information may be handled by providers that support website hosting, communications, and enabled widgets, or disclosed when legally required. Third-party sites and services have their own privacy practices. Please review them before sharing information.
Owner review needed: confirm the actual providers, marketing practices, retention periods, and whether any activity constitutes a sale or sharing of personal information under applicable law. This draft does not assert that those practices have been audited.
6. Keeping information secure and deciding how long to keep it
No website, email service, or online storage system can guarantee complete security. Do not send sensitive personal information through this website or its chat tools.
Information should be kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, applicable legal requirements, and legitimate business needs. Specific retention periods and security practices must be confirmed by Reveal before this draft is finalized.
7. Your privacy requests
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, or to object to certain uses. California residents may have additional rights where applicable, including rights relating to sale or sharing and non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
Contact Reveal using the details below to make a request. We may need to verify your identity. Applicable legal exceptions may limit what can be provided or deleted. The owner should confirm which laws and response requirements apply before publishing a final policy.
8. Children and changes to this policy
This website is intended for business owners, not children under 13. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us, please contact us so we can review it.
The policy may be updated when the website or our practices change. The final version should include an effective date and explain significant changes when required by law.
